Very cute place. Super friendly. Was there around 2 and got some cinnamon rolls. Took them home to have for dessert after dinner. Popped them in the microwave for 30 seconds and they were delicious! I will absolutely be back to try some more goodies!
My now husband and I scheduled a cake tasting with Jessica with J&G Pastries for our wedding. She gave us so many options. She answered all our questions and was so kind. I was able to share some inspo pictures of what I wanted for our wedding and she nailed it. The cake was beautiful and delicious. I can't recommend J&G Pastries enough. I loved the Reese's overload cookies but more importantly Jessica & Robert were inviting and created a wonderful atmosphere. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
Came across J&G Pastries while checking out Woodstock downtown yesterday, been meaning to for decades. I'm glad we went yesterday because we found this jem. If you haven't tried them you should! Delicious pastries! We got the cinnamon roll 😋 cinnamon toast crunch cookie 😋 and a cake pop. All 3 so very delicious. The cake pop was in the shape of a pot of gold! How clever is that for St. Patrick's Day weekend! But the real pot of gold is finding J&G Pastries! Only thing I'm upset about was I wish I bought more pastries. Check them out, you'll love them!
We have been ordering custom made treats for special occasions since I moved here when my son was born. Not only do the cupcakes look adorable, they taste amazing! I don’t have many pictures because they get eaten before I remember to take a picture of them. My experience is always friendly, welcoming, and not once have I ever left the store dissatisfied with a treat. My son has a speech delay, but manages to ask for Cookie? Cupcake? Cake Pop? This little bakery is so special to us. I’m fairly new to the area and it’s so nice to see a familiar, warm face when we open the door. I encourage everyone to try a sweet treat!
Two weeks before our October wedding I realized I had forgotten to order a cake. I searched on google for bakeries near Woodstock and this one came up. I unfortunately was not able to meet the owner and we only corresponded via email. She was very responsive and when I emailed her a picture of what we wanted, she said she would deliver the cake at our venue on wedding day. I didn’t actually see the cake until it was time to cut it and was SO SO HAPPY with how it tasted and looked! Beautiful beautiful cake!
Good afternoon! J&G is small but cozy and offers great service with memorable options, plus a nice setting. I tried the cinnamon roll with my kids, which was excellent. In addition, the Lucky Charms cookies and cupcakes proved to be memorable treats. The person attending to us showed compassion and kindness while we enjoyed the items.
